account | A group of scientific collaborators guided by an agreement that outlines the legal obligations of those who access or analyze HISE data. |
asset | A content component of a publication or Data App, such as a study, visualization, file set, or notebook. |
Certificate of Reproducibility (CertPro) | A detailed, step-by-step record of scientific research that includes data, scientific algorithms, computational environment, tools stack, and results, generated in real time to foster reproducibility of results. |
Data Apps | Dynamic platform that showcases the data and computational resources in HISE, helps scientists explore AIFI research, awards Certificates of Reproducibility, and packages assets in a custom-designed UI. |

file set | A selected file collection that users want to use again or share with others. |
hero image | A relatively large, eye-catching image whose purpose is to attract visitors' attention and capture or represent the content of the page or element with which the image is associated. |
notebook | Refers to a Jupyter notebook, an open-source web app that lets data analysts create and share documents and code. |
project | An organizing entity that enables cloud services (such as APIs, authentication, and billing) by housing the settings, permissions, and other metadata for applications built on the selected cloud platform. |
publication | A complete work that explores a particular scientific question. It'a composed of a report and any accompanying assets, such as file sets, notebooks, visualizations, and a certificate of reproducibility (CertPro). |
quota | The maximum amount (in USD) an individual or organization is allowed to spend on cloud computing or other services; a spending cap. |
report | A Google Doc, Sheet, or Slide (or a Microsoft Word doc or PowerPoint slide) in a Google Workspace. |
spend | Amount of money (in USD) spent on a particular product or service, such as cloud computing. |
study | A workspace for joint research within a HISE project. Depending on your needs, a project can house one or more studies. A study can contain reports, visualizations, file sets, and notebooks, a certificate of reproducibility (CertPro), and uploaded files, such as PDFs and images. |
visualization | A visualization can be a metadata visualization saved from an advanced search in HISE or a custom visualization generated by an analyst in the IDE. |
