The Sound Life Cohort

A collaboration with the Benaroya Research Institute

Lead Collaborators:
Dr. Jane Buckner, Sound Life Primary Investigator
Dr. Cate Speake, Sound Life Project Lead

Data from healthy Young Adult (25 - 35 years old; N = 47) and Older Adult (55 - 65 years old; N = 45) subjects were collected by the Benaroya Research Institute Sound Life Project, in collaboration with Dr. Jane Buckner. Sample collection followed a protocol approved by the institutional review board (IRB) of the Benaroya Research Institute. The Sound Life Cohort consisted of adult donors from the greater Seattle, WA area that were screened to exclude any subjects with a history of chronic or autoimmune disease, chronic infections, or severe allergy.

For more information about the Sound Life Project, see the Benaroya Research Institute Sound Life Project website.
